Privacy policy

What we don't collect
No accounts exist, so we hold no names, emails, or passwords. We do not store a history of the links you paste or the files you download. Downloaded files are generated on demand, streamed to you, and immediately deleted from the server.
What is processed transiently
Your IP address is used in memory for rate limiting (roughly one fetch per 30 seconds) and discarded — it is not written to a database. The video URL you paste is sent to our server solely to fetch the video's public metadata and file, then forgotten.
Standard web server logs (status codes, timestamps) may exist at the infrastructure level for reliability and abuse prevention, and rotate automatically.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and basic usage patterns, such as page views, device/browser information, approximate location, and referral source. Analytics may set cookies, but we do not use advertising cookies and do not send pasted video URLs or downloaded file details to Google Analytics.
Third-party platforms
When you fetch a video, our server contacts the hosting platform (e.g. X, TikTok, YouTube) to retrieve the public file. Those platforms' own privacy policies govern what they log about that server-side request — your device never contacts them through this tool.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date below will be updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
